As the sole Southern African distributor of Vital chain blocks and lever hoists, and a supplier of the Taurus range, slings, steel wire rope, shackles and rigging hardware, Toco has supplied equipment across the region since 2002.
Certified to standards buyers across the region recognise
Toco Lifting is approved by the South African Department of Labour as a Lifting Machinery Entity (LME No. 008), and testing is overseen by a registered Lifting Machinery Inspector. The lifting equipment Toco supplies is tested and certified to recognised South African and international standards, including the SANS standards, the EN 818 chain series and the factors of safety set out in DMR 18, and every item is supplied with the correct certificate, a conformance inspection certificate or a performance load test certificate. Vital chain blocks are manufactured under ISO 9001. Mines, contractors and procurement teams across the region recognise this South African certification as a quality benchmark, while each country continues to apply its own regulations in service.
